There are two principal types of administrators within Jama: System Administrator, for on premises customers only, and Organization Administrator. The roles may or may not be held by the same person.
System Administrators are in charge of installing and setting up Jama. They are able to access the server settings and log in as the root user. Jama manages system administration for hosted customers.
Organization Administrators have the highest level of permissions within Jama and can configure settings within a specific organization. All Jama customers have at least one Organization Administrator, and there may be multiple within a single organization. To access Admin settings, select the Admin link in the Jama header. Only users with Admin rights have access to this link.
