An Organization represents the entire group of users who have access to Jama.

Depending on how Jama is configured, an Organization could be an entire team or company. In terms of data, an Organization embodies all the Users, projects, items and other related data in a Jama application.

To manage a Jama Organization, one Administrator is needed. An Administrator has full administrative control of Jama and has the highest level of permissions within an Organization. An Organization can have as many Administrators as needed. The System Admin role is for setup and configuration of the application, and does not have access to projects within Jama. There is only one user login (root) for the System Admin and the rights cannot be altered or assigned to other users.
