The Admin Console must be running a 2.x version. If this is not the case, see Migrating from Replicated 1.x to 2.x before installing any other updates.

Update

During an update, the application server must have access to the internet. If your security requirements do not permit this, you should consider airgap installation as an alternative. Installing an update of Admin Console as follows:

1.Use a web browser on your work station to navigate to Admin Console > Dashboard.
2.Stop Jama by selecting Stop Now.

panel started

3.Wait until Jama is stopped.
4.Execute the following command on the Jama server to download and install the latest console update.

curl -sSL https://get.jamasoftware.com/docker | sudo bash -s no-auto

If you prefer to download and install the version of the Admin Console that was used during regression-testing of the version of Jama you want to install, execute the following command:

curl -sSL "https://get.jamasoftware.com/docker?replicated_tag=<REPLICATED_VERSION>&replicated_ui_tag=<REPLICATED_UI_VERSION>&replicated_operator_tag=<REPLICATED_OPERATOR_VERSION>" | sudo bash -s no-auto

where you must replace the values <REPLICATED_VERSION>, <REPLICATED_UI_VERSION> and <REPLICATED_OPERATOR_VERSION> with the values for your desired version of Jama. These are listed under Supported Software in the Jama Community.

5.Wait for the update to finish
6.Use a web browser on your work station to navigate to Admin Console > Dashboard.

7.Start Jama by selecting Start Now.
8.Wait for the components that make up Jama to be started and initialized. The dashboard reads "Starting" then "Queued" (see Installation of Jama for more details about these phases).
