Jama Connect User Guide

View stream at an item level

You can view the stream at an item level. Any comments you enter at an item level will reference that item. Use one of these methods:

  • Open the stream from Projects> List View or Projects > Reading View to see only comments and connected users.

  • Open the stream from Single Item View to view and filter all the activities and comments related to that item.

View comment stream
  1. In Projects > Reading View or Projects > List View, each item shows a speech bubble icon with a number that indicates how many comments were recorded for that item.

Alternatively, find the speech bubble in the side toolbar in Single Item View.

View comment and activity stream
  1. In Single Item View, select the Activities button on the side toolbar. This shows the history of an item. The number on the button tell you how much activity the item has.

    Note

The availability of this toolbar is configured by the organization administrator for each item type.

  2. The stream opens in a bottom panel to show all activities (such as edits, reviews, relationships) and comments for this item. From here you can add a comment, search the stream with a keyword, refresh the display, or hide the panel.

    Note

Baseline activity for this item isn't shown here, but can be seen in the baseline activity stream.

  3. Use the three buttons in the top left corner of the stream to filter just comments, just activities or to apply a custom filter.

  4. Select the settings icon in the top right corner to configure your custom filter. Use the pop-up window to choose default settings or your own keywords, activity type, date range or item type, then select Apply. Your custom filters are saved across items.
