Break complex work into reviewable steps (Beta)
For work that creates or changes Jama Connect content, separate exploration from execution.
A useful pattern is:
Ask the Assistant to retrieve the relevant Jama Connect content.
Request recommendations or proposed content in a table.
Review and edit the proposals.
Identify the exact rows or actions you want applied.
Confirm the destination and requested changes.
For example: Retrieve the requirements in FLD-3 and show their Name and Description in a table.
Then: Identify requirements that may overlap. For each group, propose whether to retain, rewrite, merge, or remove an Item. Do not edit them directly.
After reviewing the result: Apply the approved changes for rows 2 and 4. Show the plan and ask for confirmation before updating any Items.
This approach keeps engineering judgment with the user and creates a clear boundary between a recommendation and an authorized change.
