Edit a test cycle
You can edit test cycle details, such as the name, description, and start and end date.
Alternatively, you can edit the cycle details and scope. When you edit the scope, you can select which test cases are associated with the cycle. Associating additional test cases to the cycle creates additional runs, while removing associations to test cases in a cycle deletes the corresponding runs. However, you can't delete runs with data, such as "Assignee" or test run results, while editing a cycle.
To edit a test cycle:
Select a Test Plan from the Test Plan tree.
In the toolbar of the test plan, select Test Runs.
The screen displays the most recently created cycle and all associated test runs.
To edit test cycle details: select Cycle from the drop-down menu, select Edit details.
Update the cycle name, description, and start date and end date as needed.
Select Save.
To edit the test cycle: select Cycle from the drop-down menu, then select Edit cycle.
Update the cycle name, description, and start date and end date as needed, then select Next.
Select test case associations you want to remove from the cycle, then select Next.
Note
You can't delete runs with data, such as "Assignee" or test run results, while editing a cycle.
Select test case associations you want to add to the cycle, then select Save.
The page is refreshed and displays any changes to test cycle description and scope.
