A workflow is a set of transitions from one status to another, over the course of an item's lifespan. 

All workflows must be set up by an organization or process administrator before they can be used.

Workflow can be used in these scenarios:

  • Project items — Creates a common pathway for items to follow.

  • Review items — Allows organizations to configure items to transition to a specific workflow state following the review process.
