Release field
The release field is a predefined field with a picklist that contains all the releases created in a particular project.
Important
You can only use the system predefined Release field to show items in the Releases tab. If you use a custom Release field to designate an item to a release, that item doesn’t appear in the Releases tab.
If you don't see a Release field in the item type you are using, an organization admin can edit the fields for that item typeand make it visible.
A project admin must also configure pick list values for each release.
